Cookies and Tracking
What are cookies?
Cookies are little files a website may store in your browser while you visit. They let the site recognize a browser that comes back, keep you logged in and recall your preferred settings. A session cookie is wiped the moment you close the browser, while a persistent cookie lasts until it reaches its expiry or you clear it yourself. Your choices apply equally to related technologies such as local storage and email pixels.
What are functional cookies for?
- Remember your language and display settings.
- Keep track of games you opened recently.
- Save choices such as sound on or off.
The site keeps working without them, but you may have to pick your preferences again on every visit.
How do I control or turn off cookies?
- When you first visit, our cookie banner lets you accept or decline optional cookies.
- Want to change your preference? Open Cookie Settings from any page footer and adjust it at any time.
- Your browser lets you clear or block cookies. If you switch off the essential ones, however, you will lose access to login and to the games.
- Your choices are saved separately on each browser and device, so repeat them wherever you play.
What do analytics cookies measure?
- Which pages and games are opened, and how often.
- Load times and errors, so we can fix slow or broken pages.
- General traffic patterns, measured in aggregate.
Analytics cookies are optional and are placed only if you accept them.
Which cookies count as strictly necessary?
- Session cookies that maintain your login.
- Security cookies that detect unusual sign-in attempts and protect payments.
- Cookies supporting geolocation and verification checks required by law.
- Cookies that record your cookie choices.
We don't ask your consent for these, because without them the site could not run securely. You can still remove them in your browser, though doing so will prevent you from logging in or playing.
Do other companies place cookies on the site?
Yes. Game studios, payment partners, verification services and analytics providers may set their own cookies whenever their content appears on our pages. Each partner's privacy terms govern those cookies, and the optional ones follow the choices saved in your cookie settings.
What about marketing cookies?
- They measure whether our advertising and partner links lead to sign-ups.
- They help limit how often the same message appears to you.
- These cookies are used only after you give consent. You can disable them whenever you wish in Cookie settings.
- Under Ontario rules we do not use them to show public bonus advertising.
Can this page change over time?
Whenever we add, change or remove cookies, or legal requirements shift, we update this page and record each version here with its date. Should an update alter what you consented to, the cookie banner appears again. Questions can be sent by email to mail@torontocasino.app.
